WHY : Enable DevOps Core engineering group adopting “You Build it You Run It” culture and best practices
HOW : Set standards, provide guidance, and serve as mentors for the DevOps Core engineering group in the domains of monitoring, alerting, incident management, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and deployment.
WHAT : The above will be achieved by close collaboration with the DevOps Core engineering group, production engineering group, and other pertinent teams. We will work together on the outlined topics, and this effort will be supplemented with comprehensive training and documentation.
What you’ll be doing as a SaaS Operations Engineer :
- Guide and train R&D engineers on execution of production-related operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize system performance and resource utilization for improved user experience.
- Guide and train R&D to Develop and deploy monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to identify and mitigate operational issues proactively.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
What you bring on to the table:
- 3+ years of experience as SRE / DevOps
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Cloud providers: AWS / GCP / Azure (preferred) .
- Experience in Containers, Kubernetes
- Excellent understanding of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience with integration tools (e.g. GitHub Action, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Git.
- knowledge of Observability tools (Grafana, Corologix)
- Knowledge in operating systems, networking – advantage
- Great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Independent, strong self-learner, with ability to self-manage tasks and meet deadlines
- Problem solver, able to remove roadblocks.
NOTE: The job location is Bangalore (Bellandur) and we follow a hybrid model, mandatory 3 days/week work from office.
